On the other hand, my GPS directions blow my head off they are so loud! So perhaps a bit more balance in the volume levels would be nice. Overall, I would buy it again and recommend it.

It does not always connect as soon as I get into the car, but that has not been a problem. Sometimes my husband says I sound destorted when I call him. Not impressed with the FM feature, music through Jabra is better than using the FM. Overall I am glad I bought it.

I highly recommend this product. I was looking at possibly changing out my radio to get bluetooth, but after finding this, it does all that I want. I can also move it from one vehicle to another if I need to.

I would have chosen a different brand. Doesn't seen to always hear me and I turn the radio down and I'm close to the wheel because I'm short and it is on the drivers side visor.

The only thing I don't care for is the on/off switch. It's too small, and when you're driving you have to run you finger up & down the side to find it. Otherwise I like the product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from null The Jabra Freeway is small Bluetooth device but still very loud. The speakers are very good and you can talk very smoodly. The FM mode is working but you will need a very close radio antenna because it doesn't transmit very strong and you can hear other radio stations.

I would rate this higher but it took a long time before I was able to get it to be able to voice dial on my Galaxy S9+. I am still not sure how I did it. I am a pretty technical person so that was frustrating. A better set of instructions would be good. I do like that it will read my text msg to me. Wish it could also do voice texting.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from null I purchased the Jabra Freeway because my state, Georgia, recently passed a hands free law and I do not have bluetooth in my vehicles. So far, the Freeway has performed very well. Callers rarely know that I am using a bluetooth device and when I tell them, they are very surprised by the clarity of the call. The speakers are clear and crisp and I have no problem hearing the person on the other end of the line. I like the caller announce feature and accepting or ignoring calls is easy. I am able to have my texts and emails read to me via SIRI and I am able to respond to them as well without touching the phone. The only problem I have had with the system, and it's not really a Jabra problem, is that SIRI doesn't understand what I say sometimes or just makes up words for me. Other than that, the Jabra Freeway is a terrific device and I would highly recommend it.

However, the only downside I would like to bring up is it's hard to get a good FM connection from Freeway to my radio because it doesn't allow for low frequency, i.e. 88.1, for instance. So most of the time I can't stream my music through it and that's the main reason I purchased the Freeway.

I needed a hands free Bluetooth system for my noizy, barely insulated car, and this works great! Definitely a keeper!

The volume is loud enough that you should be able to have a clear conversation even when driving on the highway with the heater/air conditioning on. I would rate 5 out of 5 stars except the unit doesn't notify when in charging mode. I am not sure if it will indicate when battery has low power. All in all, I am very satisfied and would highly recommend for safe, hands-free while driving.

The only problem I got, is because I had to remove and re-detected my object in my phone before I can use it after I upgraded the firmware. Problably because I changed the language while upgrading the firmware. But that was not mentionned in the upgrading procedure :-)

The unit coupled with the Jabra support website (for downloading newer firmware enabled me to use the unit with multiple phones. This enabled me to keep this great unit in my truck. Finally, had enough and bought the Jabra Extreme2. So far I love it. It sits well on my ear. Sounds great. When I first bought the Jabra Extreme2 I could hear the person I was talking to but they could barely hear me, so I took it back and got another one. No more problems. Would I buy another one. YES!! Actually I plan on getting another one.

I love that the call is announced when it rings, allowing you to answer, or decline - sending the call to voicemail. I love when I get into the car, it auto connects and confirms by voice, "Connected." Also has an excellent quality speaker (three of them), and has an awesome battery life.

The Freeway connects promptly with my phone when I enter my truck. My issue and reason for two stars is communication between the Freeway and my phone frequently drops, that is, audio on the Freeway stops and comes from the phone. The Bluetooth menu on the phone shows they are connected, but obviously they are not communicating. Sometimes the communication is restored on it's own, other times the Freeway must be turned off and back on to restore communication. I have a Motorola ZPlay. I cannot recommend this product until this issue is resolved

I tried a different Bluetooth device and promptly sent it back. After reading reviews and articles, I purchased the Jabra Freeway. After two weeks, I am more than satisfied with this device and am recommending it to my friends. It was easy to set up, especially with the availability of the tutorial videos. The sound is crisp and clear, the battery has a long life, and it responds to voice commands. In essence, it is everything I wanted in a Bluetooth speaker.

FM Broadcast from the iPhone to car radio was reliable except where there are FM local broadcast stations which override the signal. We often stream audible books from phone to Jabra to in-car FM. This works very well. Phone apps are not very helpful in Apple iOS; can't get them to perform as advertised. However they have not proven necessary.

I tap the voice button and it says "say a command". I say "phone commands" but it doesn't always connect to Siri. Sometimes it takes 2 or 3 attempts before it goes through, which is a bit frustrating. I do have a slight English accent, though have tried different speech patterns to no avail. Once it does connect to Siri and the call goes through it's great, with clear audio on both ends.

My wife asked for a Bluetooth solution for her while she drives her car. I took that to heart and my son turned me on a different makers style. I researched 5 different model and features. The Freeway was hand down the best fit for her and now for me also. The FM transmitter works wonderful and the sound is very good quality. I have talk to people and asked how do I sound to them. No issues and I don't know what else to say but if you don't have a hands free solution for when you drive. Than the Freeway is for you.

I was mainly hoping to use it to play audio over my stereo system using its FM broadcast feature. It had too much static to enjoy that. I tried different frequencies. This was difficult as you have to move up frequency by frequency. I couldn't find a spot I felt was clear enough to listen to.

There are 2 things, one minor and one medium sized that make me wonder. The minor: why does it always say twice "Connected" when it connects my phone. The medium: When I ask for the battery level status with voice command "battery", I does not recognize it at all. I know I am not native English speaker, but I believe I can pronounce the word with well enough that it should understand the word. This is a problem as there is no other way to know what the battery level is.

I had some expectations on FM transmitter, but it is as noisy as FM transmitters use to be. The bluetooth coverage range is a little bit to wide and sometimes you find out that your call is still in the Jabra when you are no longer in the car.

I took it back to Telstra and each time the unit worked, It wasn't until last month I was able to understand that the unit cannot be placed on charge and connect to the phone at the same time. I tried resetting the unit but it makes no difference.

The speakers are very clear and according to those who I have called say that the microphone is also very clear. I also like the voice activated call response as I don't want to be distracted by controls when I'm driving. The radio speaker link is useful when I have a passenger but not a feature I use much. Very happy with the product.

I also use it to listen to audio books and its also excellent. My wife has a Nissan Murano with a known issue for mobile bluetooth and the Jabra Freway is superior to the system Nissan provides in their vehicles. Highly Recommended

I did my research and the Freeway was what I hoped would be an improved system for me. It is not as reliable as I hoped or needed. Approx every 3rd call, I am told people cannot hear me. If I flick it across to the iPhone 6 speaker - they can hear me better. I can always hear them clearly. Not ideal. So I will probably go back to the in car system. I wish the product had been my answer to better in car hands free talking.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from null I really like this speakerphone. It replaces the older Jabra I have had for years. All I had to do was turn it on and it automatically connected to my phone. No troubleshooting was required. Sound is clear, no static. I like the ability to voice command answering the pone. Two things I would like to see is being able to voice command making a call and not having to manually turn off the device to save battery. This may be operator error but have not figured this out yet!

Hoped that it would have the "blue ant" type capabilities, where I could just say, call such and such phone number. But NO. volume and battery life ok. Tried downloading the Jabra app to my android phone. NO GO. So looks like I have to find a Blue Ant replacement.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from null Jabra Freeway works but not all the time. It frequently doesn't understand when I give the commands like "battery" or "next track", or "answer". Then it will works flawlessly. The sound is pretty good if you want to play music off the smartphone. I have the Samsung Galaxy S4, but if you use the FM to broadcast to your speaker system through the radio, it does so in very low fidelity or not at all. The battery lasts long. It does work as primarily purchased to answer your phone via bluetooth with good sound quality in your car. However I am told that you will sound like you're in a cave on the other end.

Also the car charger is not doing its job in a European car model. It does not fit in the 12v very well. I am using another charger. The voice commands work well when I give them on the right side of the device but not when I give them, sitting just in front of the jabra. It took me some time to find out.

Also, I like the FM feature but I have to increase the volume of my car audio to hear the other party clearly. Overall, it's a great must-have for a car without Bluetooth functionality.

The Jabra Freeway has great sound without going through my radio speakers, but I have that option also. The controls are easy to use, and I like that the unit lets me know exactly how much battery life remains.

I drive a truck and that requires me to go hands free, so a little tech is forced on me. The bluetooth headset I use for the truck has convinced me it is useful, but a headset is sort of inconvenient in my personal vehicle with other folks. I looked for a suitable substitute, and the Jabra looked to be right. So far it has worked exactly as presented, and although I am still on a learning curve in finding all its little niceties, I am very pleased to have it. It makes for less hassle while doing the driving thing as well as allowing others to share in the conversation when appropriate. I even considered it for the Peterbilt, but it is not loud enough for that environment. Plenty good in the car, though. I will continue to learn more of its useful traits, and expect it to serve my needs quite well.

The connection to my iPhone seems to be poor, the connection to my wife's iPhone seems to be poor, and the connection to the radio for listening to Bluetooth music is poor. At one point, I drove a whole hour with it connecting, disconnecting, two devices connected, disconnected, connected.... The few times that I was able to place/receive phone calls with it, the call would go in and out (despite full reception on my phone) and I would eventually have to recall the person multiple times to complete a conversation.

The sound quality is great but here's my biggest problem: I wanted something that would make my phone calling truly "hands-free". Right now, it's not. When I issue "phone commands", I then activate google via "hey, google" followed by "call my house" (yes, "my house" is in my cell's phone book list). From what I understand, the Freeway doesn't just call phone numbers without interfacing with the "dialing" feature/app that I have on the phone which is "google". Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't and when it doesn't then I'm forced to touching the phone to accomplish my mission. This frustrates the heck out of me. My previous bluetooth was a "Blue Ant" that I've had for years. I figured an upgrade (and I though the Freeway was a big upgrade) would be a gazillion times better. Not. If I'm doing something wrong let me know but I don't like to be frustrated like this.

And calls are clear in both sides of the conversation... which is why I choose the Jabra in the first place. The FM connection is very weak and does not work well. I leaned how to change the FM station on YouTube, but this doesn’t bring the sound in clearly or without static.
