WebSphere Extended Deployment Operations Optimization provides application virtualization, centralized workload management and administration for Java applications running on WebSphere and non-WebSphere application servers. Server resources are assigned in a shared pool and work requests are routed dynamically across the shared resources.
Operations Optimization is comprised of two features. A Controller, which runs on WebSphere Application Server Network Deployment and a node, which runs on each of the application servers being controlled.
