HPE ProLiant ML110 Gen9 - tower - Xeon E5-1620V4 3.5 GHz - 8 GB - 1 TB is rated 5.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Decent Budget Server I don't usually buy budget servers. But we had a problem with a very unique set of criteria for solution. We wanted VMWare support at high clock speeds. A single threaded app needed a high clock speed in order to achieve reasonable performance. Downgrading to a quad core running at 3.6GHz nearly double the performance even though we were previously running a 2.8GHz 10 core machine. We also ended up using PCIe SSD cards and added the additional baffle and fan which was easy and seemed well thought out. Has been in service for a month and in production for about two weeks with no issues. Given the price point, you can't expect all the frills but it does what it's supposed to and the quality seems decent for the price point. Would buy again.
