HP Enhanced Implementation Service for SANs provides implementation of your Storage Area Network (SAN). HP offers three service levels based on the size and complexity of your SAN environment. The service covers a comprehensive complement of technologies including Fibre Channel (FC), Fibre Channel over Ethernet (FCOE), Fibre Channel over IP (FCIP), FICON (Fibre Channel for HP XP Storage Array-based mainframe storage), iSCSI, or HP BladeSystem FC or Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) switches and associated devices. This service implements a new single- or dual-fabric SAN or extends an existing SAN. This service does not include configuration of arrays or storage devices which are covered by their own corresponding deployment services. Level 1: For small SAN environments of up to 48 physically present and available ports located in a single physical location or any HP BladeSystem switch implementation within the BladeSystem enclosure.
