I don't use a lot of color but when I do I want each color to be exactly what color it should be and HP delivers that quality. I'm certain that I will buy these again.

I didn’t check out the ink cartridges beforehand. They are tiny compared to my last printer and last 3 months at best instead of 6-8. They do not come anywhere near the estimated number of pages as HP suggests. Already have issues with the printer. Very disappointed and my last HP purchase.

Cartridges are supposed to print so many pages...I find that the cartridges empty sooner than advertised - but I do full color pages even though I only print occasionally. Not all cartridges come in XL, which is irritating. XL cartridges cost a fortune.

The toner does not last that long (even for the XL version) and it is extremely pricey. Sometimes I have been happy; sometimes I have NOT been happy because of dry cartridges. It may cost a little bit more to buy the ink directly from HP, but I have never been disappointed. Also, it arrives very quickly from HP. The discounted ink could take a week or much more.

It sometimes doesn't print until sometimes randomly, days later and usually I'm not even that lucky. I've mainly been using it as a scanner which it does great at but I wish I could rely on it more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great, but... HP original ink always the best. After replacing all my color cartridges they all showed at 100% full, however the yellow was only about 75%. Attempting to get an answer from HP yet as contacting someone, even with email etc. is not an easy task. They are still higher than Best Buy, etc, however you get overnight shipping for free.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from not a straightforward system I ended up getting this ink as a result of just trying to get my printer to print. Even though my hp printer was on, my desktop consistently would give me the "offline" error message. I tried to uninstall it and then re-install it to make it stop happening. In the process, they asked me to sign up for "instant ink" the automatic re-order system. In my repeated efforts to install the printer I think I ended up putting myself on the re-order system more than once. So I have a lot of ink now for a printer that still usually gives me an "offline" error everytime I want to print.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Rapid service and great price I was having some trouble with the color cartridges I had and was tired of printing only in black and white and the machine asking me if I wanted to print it only in black and white so I ordered one set of the color 3-pack and it came the next day. I also got a nice discount on a second set of the 3-pack color cartridges so I bought that too and saved some money.

The only reasons I do not give a five star rating are; 1-the cost. I got my 8710 multifunction printer for a very reasonable cost. I know the purpose of that low price is made up by the higher cost of replacement cartridges. However I would rather pay a little more for the printer and less for the ink afterwards. 2-the fact that when one printer cartridge runs out even if it is color it will not allow you to print just in Black. I know there are sometimes hacks around this issue however I would not want to risk damaging my printer performing a hack.

These cartridges worked on the first time and I haven't had any problems since! Will likely continue to buy brandname in the future to avoid headaches and wasting money on products that do not work.

The shipping was immediate and the ordering process was so simple that I was finished after only a few keystrokes! HP has obviously made ordering their products on-line “a piece of cake”!- The ink cartridges, themselves, pop right into the printer and jump into action! They can be installed quickly and within a few minutes, the new print ink makes the printer operational. Again, another fast and easy solution provided to us by HP!!!

It scans up to 12” x17”, but the bad news is that it picks up the rough paper from watercolor and then I’m fighting with it to get back to white background without losing saturation. It has two paper drawers, but the bad news is that you can’t have different paper in the other one and choose to print from it.
