Since I had already opened it and thrown away the package, I didn't contact customer service, just ordered a new cartridge. As good as the ink is (and it is very good and long lasting), make sure the right model ink is received. Package similarities don't guarantee that...next time I'll pay more attention. It is a great product, super price, free next day shipping.

I can't judge whether cartridge has extended life (i assume XL stands for eXtended Life) or not at this point. I hope so. Too bad printer software doesn't track number of sheets printed with each cartridge, so one could judge the lifespan.

The next day I was prompted to change the yellow again. I removed it and put it back then got a notice that the cartridge was damaged. I can not print until I purchase and replace the cartridge. Not only am I out the money, but I really needed to print the information.

I followed the directions three times to correct the problem. I then went to your website and tried everything suggested for troubleshooting. Nothing worked. So I sent two emails, and I have never received a response. So I have $111 worth of ink in a printer that will not work. Not happy with HP.

I did have a problem during the checkout process, though, where it told me my address was invalid! I ended up having to call customer servies to finish the transaction, which took MUCH longer and was pretty annoying. Oh, and my address was fine - it was your system that was not!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works fine What can I say--it's a printer ink cartridge. I put it in, and it worked. Actually, I'm really ticked off about the HP Officejet printer I put it into. The stupid thing (otherwise a fine printer) won't print at all when one of the color cartridges runs out of ink--not even in "all black" mode. After the "Yellow cartridge is out of ink" message appeared without warning, I was without a printer for the week+ it took for me to receive the replacement I ordered online, since we live 30 miles from the nearest office supply or WalMart store. I hadn't bought replacement color cartridges ahead of time because my granddaughter went to put replacement cartridges into the HP printer I bought her for college (along with the extra cartridges), and they wouldn't work because they were barely past their rather short expiration date. What a rip!!

Though my black ink was full, the printer would not work until I purchased more HP ink cartridges. Then it took over 5 days from the point I ordered the cartridges which is completely different from previous 'forced' purchases which used to be shipped overnight. While part of this longer delivery may be the result of present day in shelter placement, it still doesn't answer the question as to WHY the printer will not work using alternate ink cartridges. From this point out, never again will I purchase either a laptop or printer created by HP.

I've already paid for the printer again through the frequent need to get new toner, and I don't even print documents that often. It is extremely irritating and has motivated me to seek other sources of toner and printers. Of note, I've used HP printers and ink for both business and personal use for decades, and this is the first time I've considered using other products.

It was very easy to order and the delivery is reliable and not very quick. The rewards program is meaningless, of no importance, and definitely NOT a sales incentive. Additionally, HP thinks their inks are made out of gold or something, especially the way they price all of their inks. One advise to HP, if you truly care about bringing in more business, LOWER your prices on all of your products and inks!!! Because of some of these flaws on HP is why I gave it one star less, if not they would have gotten 5 stars for their products.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good quality All HP ink in the 933 and 932 series are great. They are high quality with sharp and crisp lines that distinguish the lettering or photos very well. They all seem to last a good amount of time also.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great savings, same quality printing -- Ever since HP introduced the XL printer carts, they've always been my choice for replacements. The extra ink in each cartridge not only makes a big difference in replacement time-frames, but also enhances savings with out printing budget -- especially with photos and my wife's internet coupons. I get further savings by configuring many everyday print jobs to draft and black-only copies. The print quality is quite sufficient for many projects, and it bypasses the color carts that are also used in combo to produce black ink formats. I'll never go back to the standard carts, based upon my complete satisfaction with the XL's. Also, my continued 25+ year ordering direct from HP provides product availability, with fast and free shipping.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Short life span I buy the XL but am surprised they don't last all that long and I don't really use my printer all that much. I'm an old, old lady, so you can just imagine. I'm still pretty techie, however.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ink and the hp printer I think the newer hp printers use much more ink than the older models and the cartridges hold less. I really have trouble with poor performance but it seems to be very widespread and usa is no longer in the forefront so an alternative was developed...use ink and keep those profits up.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Colored inks are depleted when not in use I have my printer set to "Black Ink Only", but it still runs out of the colored inks! It won't print in black if any of the other colors are empty, so I constantly have to spend money to replace the other colors (even though they are never used) just to print in black. This printer at home is minimally used since I do most of my printing at work. I've probably printed about 20 pages (using black ink only) in the past 2 years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from No time to shop I was preparing for vacation and didn't have time to go to town so ordering by mail was great. Mail time was a little slow. It didn't come in before we left but was ok since I was not completely out of the colors I ordered.
