They are always shipped next day for free, which I love! One time I had to buy a black cartridge from a local office store because it was tax day and I ran out of black ink. But I'll never buy ink from a retail store again, because they are much fresher and last longer when shipped direct from HP. I've also never had a problem with clogging. They are reliable to the last drop!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love 920 Individual Ink Cartridges I bought the Office Jet 6000 specifically because it uses separate cartridges for each ink and I don't have to change out colors I am not out of when one runs out. I always keep spares on hand so I never have an issue.Obviously I go through a lot more Black than color, but I never use the colors evenly, and I hate wasting ink I haven't used because all the colors are packaged together.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from HP 920XL Yellow Officejet Ink Cartridge My printer is relatively new but I am already on my third yellow cartridge because the other two failed before running out of ink. The message was along the lines of "The yellow cartridge is damaged". At one stage an HP rep told me that my printer was malfunctioning and I needed to buy a new one - I cleaned the cartridge and soaked the jet area in warm water for a couple of minutes, replaced it and it worked for another few weeks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Far fewer pages per cartridge than expected I put in a new xl cartridge and printed approximately 13 half-page images on plain paper in normal mode, and the yellow ink was reduced by almost 25%! Something is not right with the yellow cartridges as others have indicated. The cyan, changed at the same time, did not indicate any reduction at all. I realize that yellow is used more in images, but at this rate it will be used up producing only a total of 28 full page images set on NORMAL. Photo quality would halve that number of pages (to about 14). This is not economical for what is supposed to be an extra capacity cartridge. I got more images out of my much smaller all-colours-in-one cartridge I had for my former hp printer. Of course those cartridges were more expensive overall, but produced more. I purchased this deskjet printer to lower printing costs, and that may not be the case. Please HP improve your Yellow XL cartridges to increase their capacity.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 920 XL YELLOW makes me :( I still feel there is something wrong with the yellow or it is not being filled all the way or something........your products overall seem to be not up to great standards..........I have had t order more yellow again even after just ordering one day previoous and I ordered double...not really fair or right but I have to have it for this printer and I must have it to work so..............I am not happy about the money going out for ink when I am still only getting about 20 pages out of yellow...that is a FAR cry from 700 XL should be getting...........even if I printed in nothing BUT yellow.....I should get several hundred.............not 20..................

I also appreciate the HP mail order process, as I get the cartridges within one to two days, and the free delivery can not get any better. I have tried, long ago generic cartridges and found them lacking, refilling cartridges are messy, at best, and offer the potential of damaging my printer. . .I won't take that chance, to save a few dollars. I demand consistent results, and find I get that with HP, and the order process, on line is a snap.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Dissatisfied this cartridge, in use with my hp6500 e09 all in one was worthless. after four or five days , and with printing under ten pages with color, the "xl" yellow cartridge is out of ink. I cannot go much over one day without printing and not have missing colors on a document. I continuously need to "clean printhead", or, "clean cartridges" to get the color to test ok. I have had this printer for two years and i only can do black ink printing with any consistency. a waste.
