HP Brand can't be beat
Purchasing original HP brand ink toner is so important to the operation of the printer and print quality. I have bought after-market brands and they clog, run out too quickly, and the colors are just not as brilliant.

I bought this adapter because I kept getting error messages on my PC that he existing adapter ( that came with the PC) did not have enough power. I purchased the replacement based on what the HP website said I needed to purchase.
I plugged this new adapter in and did not receive the error message for about 2 weeks. I threw out the box and the messages once again began to appear.

while a bit expensive because I had to get it from HP directly, this charger is exactly what I was looking for. We own 3 HP laptops and this will work to charge any of the three. I needed a backup for those times that one of us loses a charger

I thought the power supply was bad on my computer, because it would not charge, The New one did not charge, found out that a Windows 10 update had lock the charger from working and a tech told me to unplug charger from the laptop and hold down the on button for thirty sec. to drain all power, than put the charger back on the laptop, and restart the laptop, and it was charging then, I now have a spare used one that is ok.

Purchase of extra adapter
HP has never let me down. The lady in the sales dept knew exactly what I was looking for even though I did not know its name. I also was so fortunate to have a $50 prize from HP for this purchase. HP is rather extraordinary in its treatment of clients and their excellent products. I am very glad to be in HP's care because I know nothing about computers.

Exactly what you thought.
I needed to be able to plug in my lap top computer both in my home office and in the den. I didn't want to reach under and behind the desk every time I switched locations. So I bought a second charger. Of course it works just fine.

Had been without my laptop due to missing power cord for some months. There were some in other places but couldn't be sure if they were exactly a fit for my computer. HP helped me identify the right adapter and even though a little pricey, worth the extra cost to be sure I had the right one without risking damage to the computer. I works great.

Perfect 2nd Power Adapter

Need Stronger Power Supply
I need a stronger power supply for my laptop than the stock one puts out. The stock one was only 45 watts. This one is 90. I run duel screens, an external HDD and some other things. I also replaced the old 1TB 5,400RPM HDD with a 1TB 7,200RPM HDD. And when I was pulling all of that power, the old power supply wasn't strong enough to handle the extra load causing the laptop to drain the battery to get the extra power it needed to work properly. So far it seems to be doing the job. The laptop battery hasn't been draining like it used to. But it's still too early to tell.

replacement for original power adapter
I really wish HP would have better way to find a replacement adapter. I typed in my adapter number and I really had to work at finding a good replacement. I was a little worried about this adapter not knowing if it was the same wattage or not. So I did a leap of faith and tried it. So far it's working and I hope it doesn't cause any problems. I wish HP would make their systems more user friendly.

Did not work right
I bought this because the generic power adapter I had bought was causing the laptop to report that the adapter was causing the computer to run at a reduced speed. Unfortunately, this adapter does the exact same thing! So it was a complete waste of money for me.
