Rated 5 out of 5 by from I've learned my lesson! Thinking I'd save a few bucks by using refilled/remanufactured cartridges was a big mistake. After being a able to print a few pages a few times, suddenly my HP printer refused to print. So, I ordered 'real' cartridges from HP store. They arrived within a few days, the printer recognized them as HP, and I was immediately off to printing good quality copies. Again, I've learned my lesson well!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from no ink I installed the ink cartridge and it only lasted 2 weeks. Only printedabout 50 pages. I bought the 901xl cartridge, opened it from the sealed package and installed it 2 months later. It was bone dry. I'm guessing that the empty cartridges that are returned are not all being refilled. Not sure that I'm buying my ink cartridges from HP anymore, unless this post gets attention for replacement.

I would never buy an HP Officejet (bought these cartridges for my dad's printer). Incredibly expensive to use. Hardly did any printing and the cartridge was empty -- certainly didn't print even 1/3 of the number of pages the cartridge says it will last through (not even 3/4 of a single ream of paper). This printer isn't that old either. Time to shop for a new printer for him.

This must be a real money maker for the seller, and yes, they all charge far too much. The cost of operating a printer is not in the printer but in the ink.

I was charged the original price and there was no way to change it. I may just buy it locally now because I will know the price when I go to the register. I would recommend the HP ink to everyone but I am really disappointed in the service I received.

At one store, a sales rep convinced me a different item was compatible but it wasn’t. I decided to try HP Inc online products and while the product I need is not available through their recurring auto-delivery, I was able to purchase several packs of the black and tri-color ink at an excellent price and it arrived quickly. I no longer have to waste my time running around to different stores looking for the ink I need. In the future I will just order it online from HP Inc. What a relief to know I can get the ink I need whenever I need it! Thanks HP
