Best DVM I have used ever
I got the DVM back in the late 1980s/early 1990s. When I got it, I was in Electronic Circuit Design. Because of a career change to Computer Software Development, I use the meter now at home. It is my goto meter to testing anything electronic/electric.
That means that the battery is now nearly/over 30 years old and I have never had to replace it. That is a great product;
BTW, below it asks how long I have had it. "1 year or longer" is the max entry. I laughed. They should have have entries like 5 years, 10 years, 25 years, more than 25 years.

Tough, reliable.
I worked in the Boeing Calibration lab and would see literally hundreds of these and typically about all I had to do was change batteries and fuses. Issued by toolrooms for production use, sometimes factory, sometimes flightlie. They got torture tested. Under any normal circumstances these are virtually indestructible..

A great General Purpose Meter
If you only can carry one meter for general work, this is the one to have. Don't waste your money buying throwaway meters over and over again, when you can buy just one of these and use it (almost forever .

My Fluke
I bought my Fluke 77 and in 1985 and it served me trouble free since then. It stopped working in December 2014. I sent it to the dealer for repairs and hoping that will serve for more years. Definately the best make.

Great tool!
I only want two voltmeters, one that costs less than $15 which is disposable and my Fluke 77 which I can count on for accuracy. I have not returned it for calibration, but am impressed that I can do so. The Fluke 77 is easy to use, accurate, and well-protected from hard knocks with its rubber cover. If I lost it, I would get another.

Best Multimeter Ever!
I bought this meter for use at our company 5 years ago. Has been the most reliable and easy to read / use out of any meter We've ever had, even more expensive brands.
No matter what you are working on, this model is pretty versatile and should suuit your needs.

Great Tool
I had to purchase a new multimeter for work since I was using my Gradpaws 77 II. His old 77 II still holds true to this day and he wanted it back. I looked at other brands and for what I needed and would trust to last a life time was the Fluke 77.

Auto OFF SUCKS!
You have both hands involved in what you are doing, look at the meter to start adjusting, and it shuts it self off! You loose your set up as you need to move a hand, NEVER WILL I BUY A FLUKE AGAIN!

I purchased this meter several months ago and it has been a pleasure to use. It is easy to understand, the display is easy to see, and the tone is loud enough for me to hear. Excellent, durable product.

Highest Quality, unreal longevity
So I worked at Fluke as a designer in the 80's and brought home a 77 prototype. I moved on to another company in '85 but have kept that DVM since. It's been dropped many times and I've gone through I think 3 or 4 9v batteries and it's still going strong after 35 years. Fluke had a robust qualification process that included temperature, humidity, shock, EMI and vibration abuses. When it's time I'll upgrade to another Fluke but I think this one will outlive me.

Solid meter with great performance.
Bought this meter about 6-8 months ago and haven't had any issues. Replaced my old 77 series with this and the newer version is a definite upgrade as it should be. It's voltage range suits well for plc, electronics, and automated service circuit systems troubleshooting. Well suited for field technicians and mechanics alike. Fluke does not disappoint with its rugged package And true test to the elements. I have other meters And nothing is as reliable as my Fluke.
