EMC VSPEX BLUE fits a range of virtualized workloads: virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), cloud, test and development, remote office/branch office (ROBO), and managed service provider (MSP).
Start with a single appliance and scale out linearly and automatically. Grow from 1 to 4 appliances in a cluster, for a total of up to 16 nodes. Provision virtual machines within 15 minutes of powering up.
Each EMC VSPEX BLUE Standard Edition appliance includes:
▪4 nodes of integrated compute and storage, including flash (SSD) and HDD
▪VMware EVO:RAIL software including VMware Virtual SAN (VSAN)
▪128 GB memory per appliance
▪10 Copper Gigabit Ethernet network connectivity
▪EMC VSPEX BLUE Manager providing a system health dashboard and support portal
▪Cloud storage through EMC CloudArray - 10 TB included, and license more for unlimited growth
▪VMware vSphere Data Protection Advanced (VDPA) for centralized backup and recovery
