Powered by our exclusive SANDR Technology, each module can store up to 32 TB - with support for up to 256 TB in a single SAN configuration. With transfer rates of 500 MB/s and the ability to sustain 150,000 IOPS, miSAN has the horsepower to handle the most demanding environments and applications at an unbeatable price.
miSAN D Series is also fully self-protecting, providing snapshot backup, portable disk backup, tape backup, and encrypted, reduplicated WAN replication at the disk storage level - no backup server or third party backup software required. A pair of miSAN D Series can be configured as master and live replica, with failover, for high availability with no single point of failure.
With both SCSI and iSCSI connectivity for 3U models, the miSAN D Series is compatible with any server, whether or not the server supports iSCSI and whether or not the servers are virtualized. Distributed DAS can be completely eliminated since servers can boot from the miSAN via iSCSI and SCSI. It's iSCSI storage that's truly in a class by itself. The miSAN D Series is also available with miNAS, an optional 1U Windows file server that provides support for Windows Active Directory, DFS, CIFS, and NFS for the benefits of SAN and NAS in one solution.
