Optimized for data center or cloud, the Cisco UCS B200 M4 can quickly deploy stateless physical and virtual workloads, with the programmability of the UCS Manager and simplified server access of SingleConnect technology.

The UCS B200 M4 is built with the Intel Xeon processor family, 256 GB of memory (with 32 GB DIMMs), up to two drives, and up to 80 Gbps total bandwidth. It offers exceptional levels of performance, flexibility, and I/O throughput to run the most demanding applications.

In addition, Cisco UCS has the architectural advantage of not having to power and cool switches in each blade chassis. Having a larger power budget available for blades allows Cisco to design uncompromised expandability and capabilities in its blade servers.

Cisco UCS SmartPlay Select B200 M4 High Frequency 1 - blade - Xeon E5-2643V is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is a great system, it is confusing to work with but over time some things get easier and some get more confusing.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I appreciate the interface for UCS as it makes it much easier to manage specific scopes without having to go to the command line on a console. But you still need the console; I did not appreciate that I had to locate a port replicator and rollover cable to connect to the fiber interface.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from We use the Cisco UCS blades as a set of 6 Hypervisors using VMware, tied to NetApp SAN storage over FC and iSCSI.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The mother of our servers pod. This server system is quite heavy. Configuring it also quite difficult, but afterwards, its start to perform just like any ordinary servers, but with all the Cisco feature build around it. let say FCoE, best thermal dissipation, and rock solid performance and stability. Installed using vmware ESXi designed specific for cisco UCS.
