The instructions were well written and easy to follow. Set up took very little time. The overall quality of the items printer is good. The pages have nice clarity. I love that the printer is wireless. I am able to print from my laptop,iPad,or iPhone. That's a great feature when you're working on something. It is a bonus to not have to transfer information onto a central device for printing. My only real complaint is the size of the printer. It is quite large and I found it difficult to find a place in my house for it. The upside to that is that IT IS WIRELESS so it doesn't necessarily have to be put right next to your computer. It is also nice that the device is multifunctional. I can print, copy and scan. I would have liked for it to be a color printer. Overall, I found this printer to be easy to use and love that it's multi functional and provides good quality images.

Rated 5 out of 5 byMelanieB from Nice PrinterI received a free Canon Image Class MF232w to review and have been quite pleased with the product. Set up was simple, basically plug and go. I`m not sure if that`s because I already had a different Canon printer hooked up to my computer and it piggy-backed off of the software or drivers, or because it really just was that easy. I am using it wirelessly and that set up was simple: push a button on the printer, hold down a button on my wireless router, and done. Once I had it all set up, I went in to print a document, selected the new printer, and voila! It worked just as it should. The first page or two didn`t seem to have the quality print I had expected. I previously was using an inkjet printer, and thought possibly the laser printer`s quality wouldn`t be as good. But after printing the first few pages, the next pages all looked amazing. I even printed out several pages with black and white pictures on them, and the black background on the pictures was an even, consistent black. I am also pleased with how quickly the pages print out, copies were quick and looked nice as well. Overall, it is a good printer with easy setup and high-quality printing. I`m excited to have it.

Set-up of the printer was quick and very easy! The directions were very well written. This black and white wireless laser multifunction printer includes exactly the features I was looking for in a replacement printer/scanner/copier. The printing is fast, up to 24 pages per minute, and the mobile printing is a nice feature. The 2- sided printing saves paper and does not require flipping the page, like my current printer. The unit is large in size, at 15.4 wide by 14.7 deep by 12.3 high. Although I did not use the color printer often in my last printer, I do miss it and wish this printer had a color option. Also, a little large in size. Otherwise, I think the printer is great and would recommend to those looking for a black and white wireless multifunction printer!

I'm going to see how long the ink lasts too. Cannon says 1700 pages, Epson could only do 30. Epson was a complete joke, and after reading their reviews... most were fake reviews. Cannon probably doesn't have the time for such filth, too busy making real printers for real men.

Rated 5 out of 5 byMandyV from Great for Business/Home SettingI work from home and use my printer/scanner extensively, so when I was asked to review this product and received a free sample to do so, I was willing to test it, but wasn't sure it would stack up to what I had previously been using. I scan 3-4 documents a day, and print regularly as well so I am familiar with how most modern printers work and felt qualified to review this product. I have since been using the product exclusively for over a week and see no need to switch back to the HP I was using before.The product was very easy to assemble - and came packaged carefully with no damage to the product. I wouldn't even really call it assembly, more set-up, which took less than five minutes. Getting the direct connection took longer than the set-up itself, but only because I had to teach myself how to use the screen. Once you figure out how to go back and forth on the menu it's pretty intuitive, but did take me about five minutes.I printed a test page and was shocked at how fast the paper came out. There was no lag like there was with my previous printer, and it was so quiet I wasn't sure it had actually printed until I flipped the paper over (for some reason it prints face down, and saw that it was there. The speed and the quietness of the printer is probably my favorite overall feature, and if you want to silence it completely, you can turn on quiet mode. (There's a quiet mode button!) But I don't feel the need to use that since the printer is already so quiet. My old one would occasionally realign or "think" or whatever it is printers do out of nowhere, and I like that this one just sits there like a printer should.Scanning was very simple. It seems to know where your paper is located so it doesn't matter if you use the front or back of the screen. It's large enough that odd-sized paper would work as well. The paper tray also folds up nicely which I liked, because I have a two year old who likes to pull the paper out and fling it around the house. So far (fingers crossed!) she has not figured out how to pull it down. Forget what I said about how quiet it is - I think the locked up paper tray is my favorite feature ;)The only complaint I would possibly have about the printer is the size. It doesn't fit as easily under my desk as the older one I have. If you have a tight space I would recommend measuring before purchasing. It is sort of a hybrid between an office printer and home printer, but the footprint isn't large enough for me to be bothered by it. Just make sure you take measurements. I highly recommend this product to anyone whose home is also their workplace. It's efficient, quiet, intuitive and tidy. Perfect for the individual who hates fussing with paper jams and ink realignment and just wants to get the job done.
