Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent upgrade or as a DSLR starting point. I bought this about 2 weeks ago. I also bought the 470EX-AI Flash at the same time. I was at first a bit confused by the pics it was taking. I like the creative modes the most and turned off the Auto Correct Image brightness and extremely happy with the results by doing that. I love the FPS speed of 6 and often use that feature. The important thing is to read the manual. The only other thing I wish they had made available is a battery grip. I have a Rebel T5i as well and that is an option on that model. Aside from spending a few hundred more dollars to get a full frame sensor, this does the job quite well. I definitely would recommend this camera and welcome it to my DSLR family. For the price, it is a lot of camera to do the job of an avid photographer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great upgrade I bought this camera a few weeks ago as an upgrade since I was using a rebel T5 for 3 years. It’s a definite upgrade and perfect for my usage. The touch screen and Bluetooth are great features and make life a lot easier. However I took it out early in the morning and noticed that the pictures that needed a higher ISO game out a little grainier then expected. But overall a great camera for the intermediate or hobby photographer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy I bought this camera as an upgrade from the t3, and I am very happy with it. AF is much better and I like the additional controls. It’s not perfect, but at this price point I didn’t expect it to be. And I’m only a hobbyist, so it doesn’t need to be.
