Explore subjects and amazing ways of shooting. Excellent AF puts critical sharpness exactly where you want it to be, whether you're using the camera's optical viewfinder or its high-resolution touchscreen. Continuous shooting at up to 6 fps lets you capture fleeting expressions. A next-generation APS-C sensor produces photos packed with amazing detail, even in bright highlights and dark shadows. The quick Live View autofocus system delivers pin-sharp results, even when shooting fast-moving subjects.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best First DSLR You Can Get Decided to step up my game after using a GoPro for the past year. This camera is FANTASTIC. Has basically all the features a more expensive DSLR would have (minus full frame obviously). The flip screen might look "unprofessional" but I can't even tell you how many times I have relied on it to get the shots I want. I have taken this thing underwater (with a case), through mud, in the rain, and dropped it more times than I'm willing to admit... and it still keeps ticking. I am hesitant to even look at another model. This thing is perfect for pros and beginners alike. The only thing that would make it better would be 120fps but that's pretty far fetched lol

Rated 5 out of 5 by from LOVE IT! I just upgraded from an old canon rebel xs and this has things that remind me of the xs but obviously this is a huge upgrade from that. Extremely user friendly takes beautiful pictures, great video, auto focus is really snappy. Cannot go wrong with this camera its one of my best purchases ever.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great value I volunteered to take a group picture for my High School 50 year reunion. Although my older 12 mp Canon SLR usually does a decent job, I felt I needed the advertised feature of precise auto-focus. I wanted to use my existing lenses, and also bought a 24 mm wide angle. The focus and distortion correction was spectacular, and I received several remarks of "looks professional". If the 6D full frame had been available in time for this event in early June 2017, I quite possibly may have bought it at twice the price. I felt that this once in a lifetime event called for the best processor I could get, and the Digic 7 seemed extremely impressive. My pictures at the reunion turned out almost all were perfect. I had also bought a Canon Speedlite 430 that worked spectacularly for this group shot of 50 people, taken at 35 feet distance with the cheap 24 mm lens. I am glad I made the choice of this camera.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great camera for the price Bought this to replace my T2i. I love the live view for taking pix. Autofocus works great and having a touch screen is nice. It's just taking some time to get use to having one. My first set of pix look much better than my old T2i. Purchased just the body to use with my collection of L lenses so I can't comment on the kit lense. Anyone who has an older Rebel camera should consider the 77D as a great replacement. Same imager as the 80D with an updated Digic processor.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great camera At 24 mp and very low noise it's been near perfect for shooting for stock agencies, haven't had one image rejection yet with it. Only thing I miss from more expensive models is a vertical grip but maybe someone will make one someday.
