CDW ADVANCED IMAGING SERVICE

This CDW Configuration Service covers the installation of a Windows-based, customer-created image onto a single desktop/notebook device by using Customer approved provisioning method. This includes basic validation, and provisioning of a single device to the customer-provided VPN connection. Following image deployment, this service also includes joining device to Customer’s Active Directory domain.

SCOPE OF ENGAGEMENT

This SCOPE OF ENGAGEMENT (“SOE”), together with the Agreement between the CDW entity selling the Services described herein (“Seller”) and the customer ordering such Services (“Customer”) shall be deemed to be a contract upon Seller’s acceptance of Customer’s order.

SCOPE OF SERVICE
Includes the following tasks:
• The system will be thoroughly inspected for physical damage or blemishes
• The system will be powered on and inspected for hardware and software errors
• The installed components will be tested for compatibility and functionality
• Any defective system will be replaced from CDW’s inventory
• Deploy custom image onto a desktop or notebook system
• Initiate Active Directory domain join
• Provide resources to assist in the testing and validation of image deployment process using customer provided build instructions

SELLER RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following tasks:
• Performing Scope of Service

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following tasks:
• Provide CDW with licensed operating system and licensed software application that can be imaged onto a desktop or notebook, and is supported by the hardware manufacturer
• Provide documentation on the configuration process
• Provide CDW limited access to customer environment required to execute image build sets
• Manage and support deployment server and VPN appliance hardware (if applicable), software, and firmware

ASSUMPTIONS
• Images and task sequences have been tested by Customer before publishing to the deployment server

OUT OF SCOPE
• Installation of hardware components (available as a separate service)
• Assistance in configuring or maintaining deployment server
• Assistance in image maintenance - periodic updates to the image
• Any performance tuning, system optimization or similar activities
• Services not specified in this SOW are considered out of scope
• Storage of any product(s) at CDW Configuration Services without a valid service order unless otherwise specified in the Inventory Management section of the SOW

SERVICES FEES
The fees due under this SOE include fees for Services and related expenses, as specified in the applicable order.

CONTACT PERSON
Each party will appoint a person to provide approvals/decisions (“Contact Person”)

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This SOE shall be governed by Seller’s “SOW Services,” accessed via the “Terms & Conditions” link at www.cdw.com unless Customer has entered into a written agreement with Seller covering Customer’s purchase of services from Seller (the “Agreement”). If there is a conflict between this SOE and the Agreement, then the Agreement will control, except as expressly amended in this SOE by specific reference to the Agreement. References in the Agreement to a SOW or a Work Order apply to this SOE.
