Rated 5 out of 5 by from Alignment not only varies from page to page but WITHIN A PAGE Top card (of 10 aligns perfectly, next row is slightly off, the bottom card is 1/16 inch off. My card stock is perfectly aligned and feeding thru my printer correctly. Since the design of my card has dark foliage on top and the bottom has light tan ground, only 2 of the 10 cards are useable. I do not want to have the same color top and bottom which seems like the only answer.

I decided to give the Avery Clean Edge cards a try and was not disappointed. They are extremely easy to design, print and the clean edge tabs give them a very professional look and feel. I will continue to use Avery's Clean Edge cards as long as I am in business.

They tear seperate without any left over fringe on the edges. Also they are the best looking of the ones I have ever (used) made. I have used them for years without any problem. Rated 5 out of 5 by from Do not absorb ink I bought these for the 3rd or 4th time but the entire package has yielded approximately 40 good cards. It's not my printer, which I cleaned and tested with other cardstock and regular paper. The ink worked fine on everything but these cards. I am really disappointed as these were quite expensive and I've enjoyed using them in the past. It's so unprofessional to have cards that peel once you hand them to someone, so this has definitely made me question whether or not to use them again.

Avery had a form to download so I could use the template to make sure the cards were all printed uniform front and then back. Easy to use labels did not jam or slip in the printer. Color was great and near perfect match to screen colors.

The cards look crisp and clean with no printer run off or bleeding. The templates were easy to understand and the cards came out of the forms with minimal effort and do not look as if I've printed them from my office. Very presentable to any client. Only request would be for a thicker card stock.

The template that is provided by Avery at avery.com, is easy to use. You can place text, clip art, designs, etc on one side or both. Once you have your finished card layout on both sides. It's a snap to print your first side (I find it helpful to select card stock or heavy paper in the printer's ques) one sheet or multiple copies (eight cards per sheet), Then just flip and print the second side. Make sure to follow directions on the sheet for snapping out the cards. Now you have low cost business cards designed and printed by YOU!

Apart from the obvious use for business cards, we also use them for Display cards for events, and one of our Clients even has us print them to use as information cards to accompany his artwork. Being able to customize and change the cards ourselves is wonderful. It is great when you only need a sheet at a time.

The best thing is that I can print them a few sheets at a time and make changes to the graphics or layout without incurring extra expense. The backs of the cards came out well on one of my printers; but on my other printer the back turned out blurry. Bottom line -- they saved me a lot of money and look good!

Put words, sentences, sounds--whatever on the business card and then laminate them in the business size laminating pouches. They last forever and you can customize the flash card any way you want.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Two-sided doesn't print well Simple and easy to use. Only thing I had a problem with was that I wasted a few sheets trying to print on the back side. It seems like the backside has a different finish to the front, this causes the ink to smudge on the backside. The front side however is great and doesn't smudge. It's great for one-sided print, but I bought these because I wanted two-sided print.

The edges are very smooth- exactly like the cards you'd get from a print shop. If you have a decent printer, these cards print out looking like you had them done at a pro printing shop. Perfect amount if cards for new business to try before printing bulk amounts.

The older cards with the same item number are a little thinner. Maybe you should take into account the fact that most printers cannot print on very thick cardstock.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Two Sided Business Cards I use these all the time, and buy the large box of them. I print all of my business cards on both sides, plus I make up affirmation cards. The affirmation/suggestion cards have a suggestion on one side, and an image on the second side. I have the program set up in Word, and I just print out the card. It is pretty nifty. Because of the texture, I can use my laser printer to pint them. I have tried other cards, but this is by far the most outstanding for printing all the way around. The ink smears and your card is ruined. It is amazing how much you can put on both sides of a business card.

As everyone does-you really need to keep a large stock of cards available at all times. As I usually run out of my main stock before I reorder - having the 5871 2-sided business cards available for a quick print have saved me many times from panicking. They accept the multi-color template that is pre-set and separating them is a breeze. The edges are clean-in fact other than the card stock type, you really can't tell a significant difference in the card from my professional printer and the ones I product from my office. These cards are a "Must Have" for every business professional. Great job Avery!!

Sturdy enough to withstand two passes through the laser printer, they will carry your name out to the masses and bring in the customers you need and want. They will look like you spent big bucks at the printer, but they came from your desktop. Be the pro!

It also constantly jammed the printer. Followed all the instructions and used the Avery template, but was still VERY disappointed. Highly NOT recommended!

I use them to make business cards for the church to hand out to visitors on Sunday Mornings with the service schedules listed on the back of the card.. These cards are very versitile! Our church has a baby layette ministry to needy families and we use these cards to put a special heartfelt message in the box with the baby clothes and our church name and location on the back of the cards. I also personally use these cards to print out special mommy messages for my kids' lunchboxes. And lastly, I have used them at a birthday party riddle game....printing riddles on them with the answers on the back. They're Great and handy! I keep them around at all times!

As a real estate agent, I can put brief property info on one side, my contact info on the other side, and give to sellers to hand out to their friends, family, at church or wherever. If you have a good color printer, and you only need a small amount of cards, this is a great way to get them. And you can make lots of different cards. If you have several markets or audiences you are targeting, you can make a few cards targeting one type of business and other cards with a slightly different style or different wording, for a different group. Because you print them yourself, you can print them however you like. The online templates make it easy to get them to print in the right location.

The price was cheaper than Avery but I also got a cheaper appearance. The Avery Clean Edge Business Cards break away cleanly and with very little effort. I also like the quality of the paper for the cards they print out extremely well. Best business cards I've very used and I'll certainly continue to use them.

We have several temporary Research Assistants in our departments who travel to many clinics. With the automatice formatting provided in the templates, the Avery Business Cards print very easily on our desktop printer. Any one of our Research Assistants can print as many or as few cards as they need without the need for a lot of instruction or training. Simply use the templates, type in your information and design your card.

We used the 2 sided, clean edge cards and they came out great! We got all the information we wanted on them, due to the 2 sides and they look professional, even though we ran it off our printer. The cards come clean, look professionally prepared and can represent you beautifully in every venue. With a package of Avery cards, I can tailor calling cards to fit the occasion. I can print as few as I need or as many as I want. I can prepare them in the hotel room the night before a seminar. I can salvage lost business luggage nightmares by printing my own cards on a Sunday night in Spokane while my valise circles Dallas. Static will sometimes jam the printer, but you can work around that. and they do tear clean if you follow the instructions! overall, great for temporary cards, they do print nicely on two sides, and it does work with the laser printers i have used.

They work fine with ink jet OR laser (color or black). Just make sure to test your printing on regular paper first, check for spacing, margins, etc, then print away! Depending on where you get business cards made these can be very economical, and very flexible/quick when changes are needed. Simply print more cards when you need them, no need to wait for the local print shop.

I have used the business card blanks also the one they came out with here recently they are just plain fun to work with. Sometimes you will buy an off brand thinking you are saving money, well that couldn�ªt be further from the truth. Since Avery came out with the two-sided cards it is a breeze to design and print. Simply follow the instructions away you go. In closing I would advise everyone to try Avery�ªs products and learn for themselves just how easy they are to use.

When I told them that I designed them and printed them at home their next question is "Can you make some for me"? I have used the template dozens of times for other people and I tell them all they need to do is pick up the Avery cards from an office supply store and they can print as many as they need at home.

Because I make them myself, I can print them in small batches. And because they're clean-edge, they don't have that homemade look. I've made individualized menu selections for formal business dinner parties, created hang tags for our employee's uniforms, designed pocket cards of our company's value statement that they carry around and pass out to customers, fashioned name plates for our company's museum quality art pieces, and the list goes on and on. I was stumped as to what to get her. Browsing through the Avery newsletter, I was struck by lightning--business cards! My friend is a stay at home mom, who's never at home. I made a card that gave all of her many volunteer jobs, plus wife and mother, and designed a logo for her. I even included a motto for her "business." She was so moved because she felt like someone noticed all that she did. And the gift was so popular that I made them for everyone in my little circle the following Christmas. The cards were easy to set up--using the Avery template and easy to tear. It was a fun and easy Christmas gift.

As a film editor, I have different names I edit under and with these cards, I can make two sets - one with each name - easy and quickly. Yes, I tried store brands of cards. The worst is trying to impress a client and the card had those little edges - like it was obvious it was perforated. With the Avery cards, they always look professional and feel professional. You can't tell they were part of a sheet at all! When I go shopping for blank cards, it's never an issue of 'what's on sale' - this is my business and what I hand a client is a representation of me - I need and want the best. I always get Avery. Avery Clean Edge Business Cards make it possible to have a self-generated card that doesn't look like amateur hour. The stock is a good weight, the cards snap apart cleanly, but don't fall apart in the printer as some "off" brands may. Combined with the Avery DesignPro Limited software, I can make professional business cards that look like the agency still had money for such things.

The finish on them makes the print stand out and the edges are clean when the cards are separated so they don't have that basement printer look. They are easy to use with Avery templates, Office Word or Publisher. The only negative thing I have to say isn't about the cards but the Avery Template program is that I could not import some of my graphic and had to use Publisher to print. Other than that I would highly recommend these to people I know.

I would follow the instructions to adjust, get one good sheet, print a second and they would be a quarter inch down. Adjust accordingly again, this time it was off to the left....then up... this was not my printer, there was no sense to how the template randomly "adjusted" itself. I got 4 centered and 3 more acceptable sheets out of 20, not to mention all the ink I wasted by having to print multiple test pages between every single sheet. I only wish I had been smart enough to return them as defective before I wasted the whole pack and $22.

Unfortunately, there is a thin film on the back side of the business cards that doesn't allow the ink to set in and dry properly, and as soon as you touch it, it smudges. That kinda' defeats the whole purpose of purchasing these cards. However, placing a common house fan in front of the sheet over a period of time, does seem to help it dry. Afterwards, I was able to touch the back side in a normal fashion and not have the ink smear all over. Just a suggestion, although something does need to be done about that. Shouldn't have to resort to such tactics.

The print shop required long runs that were too big for her. We designed a card that she can edit herself. Her logo looks crisp now. She likes the ease of use -- no tearing apart, no peeling. The Avery cards just snap apart.

As a teacher, I have made my own business cards and used the cards for endless classroom projects. They have been personalized greeting cards for holidays and birthdays, mini recipe cards, prize redemption tickets, and many other cards where a small, creative touch was needed. Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Best If you need business cards in a hurry, this is for you. They are super easy to use and the quality is the best. I tried another, cheaper brand and got what I paid for - cheap cards which were not as good, thick or easy to pull apart. Lesson learned.

In addition to being great calling cards for personal business - we use them for Emergency contact info to give to our babysitter. They make great gift tags at Christmas. We used them to send address updates to many of our family and friends when we moved. I always have a box on hand. They perforate very easily and really have a clean edge.

I selected the Avery clean edge cards so my homemade cards might pass as professional. I have had lots of positive feedback and it is much more cost effective to be able to print my cards and as many as needed on my own. I am very happy with the look and feel of the cards. EXCELLENT product!

The template provides easily formated cards for any number of applications. I have also found other uses for the cards. I print a dozen or so with my email address to share with friends if I am going to an outing where I will contact people that I haven't seen for a while and would like to keep in touch. No pen or paper needed, and they can contact me if they want to.

I quickly pulled out a box of Avery business cards and printed a sheet. They looked as good as the ones the printer made for me. I presented my client with a card and he has since become an excellent customer. Needless to say I now print my own cards with a considerable savings. Additionally I have designed three different cards to target different business needs.

I found Avery business cards and decided to give them a try. I was able to design my own cards with my company logo and information printed them out and came up with a very nice looking card on my own saving me a great deal of cash. My customers have complimented me numerous times on my cards. I am sold on this product and would recommend them to anyone trying to avoid being gouged by the local printshop

These cards are great for the employee who must occasionally attend a seminar, tradeshow, or social networking event. I can customize their cards and have them printed out and in their hands in minutes. They look just as good as the cards we order from our printer. The clean edges make them look professional and they're easy to split.

They print out beautifully on our color copier and I can whip out a quick 100 cards in just a few minutes. The quality competes with those cards done by the professionals. Everything worked perfectly -- the only hitch I had was changes to the template not transferring to each card on the template sheet, which may have been my own fault for not editing the first card on the template. The only thing I would like is a heavier card stock; these aren't inadequate, but heaver would be better, esp. considering the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Business Cards We use these as a temporary stash for new employees because it takes a couple of weeks for our printing company to provide new business cards. I've used Avery white business cards for years, and each improvement is good, but these are incredibly better than anything in the past! They load into the printer's tray (so much better than hand-feeding!), print beautifully and tear apart like nothing you can imagine. A fantastic product!

I got 2 new boxes and they smear on the back side of the cards, I used a hair dryer and put in the freezer, still smear. Very poor product, come on Avery, get back to being OK! You saying money on your side, makes our side to not work?
