Avaya IP Office IP Endpoint Remote Feature Activation - license

Remote Feature Activation (RFA) is a web-based application that is used to create and deliver license files for Avaya products. The license files are created using information from the customer and the SAP order. The SAP ordering information can be entered directly into SAP or Avaya and Avaya Business Partners can use the Order Messaging/OA Price Tool.

IP Endpoint License is used for support of non-Avaya IP phones including SIP extensions. The available licenses are used in order of phone registration. If no licenses are available the phone will not be able to register. Available licenses can reserved for a particular phone using the Reserve 3rd Party IP Endpoint License setting in the each IP extension.
