Apple MacBook Pro Touch Bar 13.3" Core i7 2.7GHz 16GB 512GB - Space Gray is rated3.33 out of5 by3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Overpriced laptop with a useless touchbarThis computer is roughly 50% more expensive than our non-Mac PC with the same specs, and the peripherals are > 3x as much. Everything in the Mac environment is overpriced.Hardware-wise, these are solid systems and break as infrequently as our Dell Latitude/Precision systems. But when they do break, AppleCare warranty rarely covers the full cost/service, and there's a 1-week downtime for replacements. These MacBooks are required because our developer environment isn't compatible with Windows, and because maintaining Linux systems requires more upkeep. They don't work well with Active Directory. There's no automated warning for AD password expiration. Passwords and logins often fail for no apparent reason, and the constant password prompts are annoying. The lack of keyboard shortcuts is a pain since nearly everything is done inefficiently with the touchpad or 1-button mouse clicks. The touchbar is completely useless since it's way at the top and unpredictable, and because it's actually more reliable to use the already-slow touchpad or mouse. There are so many improvement Apple could've made for a fraction of the cost.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good but not worth itGreat computer - fun to use but not worth it if your company is heavy on using Office Suite as you lose many features using the Mac OS. Also periodically turns off and features disappear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful machineBasically, its a Mac. Beautiful, responsive, best trackpad ever (I don't NEED a mouse when using it like all Windows laptops). Its not Windows-based which is half-baked and annoying. Yes, Microsoft Office has less features on Mac version, however, a much better and responsive application on Mac than Windows. Run Parallels if you need Windows. Virtualize all the necessary Windows applications.
