Over time oil, dust, and other debris accumulates on your scanner lens decreasing its efficiency and negatively affecting your scanning results. An Ambir Enhanced Cleaning and Calibration Kit will increase the efficiency of your scanner and quality of your results. For optimal image quality, it's recommend that Ambir scanners be cleaned and calibrated approximately every 1000 scans, or about every two to three months for an average user.
