AccuScreens Electric Screen - projection screen - 92 inch - ( 234 cm ) is rated 4.0 out of 5 by 1.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great screen but with one flaw I'll start with the bad first: Between the power plug to the wall and the screen, there is a box that is the IR receiver. It's about 1" tall, by 2.5" wide, by 5" long. There is no way to remove the cables going in and out of the box or where it attaches to the screen. There's a lot of excess cable. So if you want to hide your cables in the wall, you're actually going to have to cut a huge hole so that the receiver can fit through it if you want to drop them somewhere out of sight. Then you have to have another hole for it coming out! That's crazy! Why aren't they plugs?!?! For this alone, I'm docking one star, and 2 points from Design.Aside from that issue, the screen is awesome. I have it hanging from the ceiling from hooks in my living room. The retractable screen was definitely the way to go for me and my setup. It hangs in front of two large windows that get a lot of sun in the afternoon so it also acts as a shade for me =)It comes with two remotes, I've only needed one and having it is great. I have yet to try to use my Harmony remote and see if it'll work on the AccuScreen. The battery in the second remote is dead, and I've never used it once. I've owned the screen for about 6 months now.It comes with a lot of extra cables, so that if you're in a class room, or somewhere else, you can run long control cables that will allow you to control the screen up/down from afar.I've yet to have any problems with this screen; no warping, no tearing, no retraction issues. It looks good being in my living room in the afternoon, but looks better at night in the dark when using my projector. I had previously just been projecting on big white walls, but having a screen is much better.I would say 'couldn't be happier with my purchase', but the non-removable cables are making this a pain-in-the-butt at home project so that I don't have dangling cables everywhere. Also, I should have gotten a bigger version =P
