APC Smart-UPS provide backup battery power during power outages and continuously safeguard devices from fluctuating power conditions and surges. With premium protection and simplified management, the 2200VA UPS ensures consistent and reliable connectivity at the most critical moments.




Consistent and Reliable Connectivity


With 10 outlets and 1 switched outlet group, this server and network UPS provides uninterrupted battery power to connected electronics. With sine wave output when on battery, this tower UPS offers the highest degree of compatibility with PFC servers and sensitive electronics.




Monitoring Flexibility; EcoStruxure™ Ready


Monitor your Smart-UPS from anywhere at any time via two options; cloud-based secure web portal with automated, customizable alerts regarding the health of your UPS or EcoStruxure IT software and services for larger scale or highly distributed IT infrastructures. Connect to either monitoring software using the Port on the back of the device.




Alternate Monitoring and Management Options


Use the intuitive LCD interface and PowerChute software to configure settings and monitor usage. A SmartSlot in the back of the UPS offers the option to add a Network Management Card (NMC) to remotely manage the UPS over the network (NMC sold separately). Audible alarms also provide notification of changing utility power and UPS conditions.




High Efficiency


This 1920 watt UPS offers a green mode to ensure you are operating at the highest level of efficiency while it’s smart battery management maximizes performance. Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) adjusts voltages ensuring reliable power while preserving battery life.




Additional Specifications


One switchable outlet group is included for individual load management. Predictive battery management provides an estimated date of when battery replacement is recommended.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A Brick of a UPS! This is one chunk of a big UPS! Perfect for use under your desk next to a tower desktop computer or perhaps in a network closet. At 112lbs, it’s not easy to move, but the big battery module in this UPS allows a comforting 1 hour plus runtime with a not unusual 500W load. If you need to add a NMC, a smart slot is available. Just make certain that you have a NEMA 5-20R receptacle available to power this thing!

APC's wired network is great for a company with few UPS not if they are in buildings with out a connection. MAKE IT WIFI or give up network managing software or outsource it to someone that can! I manage the UPS service for LabCorp in South San Francisco. Needless to say yes, we are biotech. We use APC for one reason. Scaleable, end-to-end service. Everything in between is pretty good as well. We have 106 APC UPS on site.Quality power is required, in fact quality power is the foundation of our wholly automated environment; including IT. I like the fact that the units are configurable. My personal favorite is the amazing little BRG1500 or PRo1500. A lot of power from a small footprint. Not larger than a desktop PC it runs all our illumina MiSeq DNA sequencers. MiSeq runs last 72 hours. Anything, the slightest frequency deviation and the test fails. I am excited about our UPS. APC makes my job covering all 106+ UPS easier but it's far from fool proof.
