Love the USB Ports!
Bought this 3 months ago and keeps my work station protected from surges. The two USB Ports are a nice add for my phone charger.

NICE UNIT
This is a good unit, without a lot of frills, that's reasonably priced and by a respectable company in power protection. You can buy a lot fancier units and if you need/want HDMI/Phone/Internet cable protection as well this isn't the unit for you, but it does have two protected USB ports and a high Joules rating. The plugs are secure and the ability of the cord to rotate at the power strip makes for very flexible and clean cord options. It also disconnects your devices from power in case of a large surge, where others may continue to let power through after the surge with reduced protection. In addition it has a green LED that will show if over time or a surge that protection has been compromised in anyway, while I've read elsewhere these types of indicators should not be fully trusted it is another visual piece of mind.

12 Outlet Protection with USB Ports!
Beefy sturdy unit that feels very high quality. Provides 12 outlets and 2 USB ports which more surge protectors should be doing these days. It would be nice if there was a bit more space between each outlet for larger plugs but if that isn't an issue then no biggie. Highly recommended!

WHAT!? No Flat-Plug?
Seems like a refinement of the hardware design, but... shocked that it doesn't have the flat-plug design that previous models had. Power plugs that come straight out of the wall limit applications and have less aesthetic appeal. forcing them into applications also negatively impacts product longevity by bending cables more than they're designed to be bent.

Absorbs a lot of Joules
Hi, this is a great surge protector, the P12U2. But I can't buy it anywhere. I want at least four. It has saved my equipment in Florida from lightning strikes. Please make this surge protector again, it is the best I know of, with it 4280 Joule rating it is double that of all the others, at least. Please make it again.

This is the second surge protector I have purchased form APC. Loved the first one so when I needed a new one I wanted another APC. It works great. Plenty of outlets for everything I need.
