My favorite Surge Arrest
With limited floor space in my office I find the slim feature but with plenty of outlets is really a great asset the thr one I had was too wide and took up too much spaced. I find not only is it easy to lay flat onthe floor and I can mount it on the wall there are so many options. I would recommend this unit to anyone.

Overall, a nice unit, with socket spacing good for plugging in multiple "wall-wart" style transformers. The USB power plugs are handy and do seem to provide full power for phones and tablets as verified with a DROK USB Tester, while not drawing any measurable power themselves when not being used, as verified with a Kill-A-Watt Electricity Usage Monitor.

Great surge protection
I received this power strip on a trial basis. The strip is well made. The five plugs are oriented in a linear fashion. This works great for standard plugs. There are three well placed outward plugs for power adapters. Since I have many power adapters to attach the alignment did not allow use with my computers but worked well for the audiovisual equipment

APC makes the best surge protectors on the market and the model P8T3 is no exception. It comes with a lifetime product warranty AND a $150,000 protected equipment warranty and the surge protection is rated at 2770 Joules, not 1750 Joules as stated in Amazon's product description. The big advantage is that it has four wide spaced outlets which easily accomodates those bulky power adapters. In addition the power cord swilvels 180 degrees to make it convenient for placement. A very convenient feature is that the front panel has two LED indicators. The first one lights up green to let you know that protection is working. The second one lights up red if there is a building wiring fault. The first time that I plugged in the surge protector, the building wiring fault LED lighted up red so I knew that I had plugged it in to an incorectly wired outlet. I plugged it in to a different outlet and the red LED didn't light up so I knew that I had plugged it in to a correctly wired outlet. If you are looking for superior quality at a low cost then this is the perfect choice.

I bought this a few months ago and it hasn't had any issues at all. Plenty of outlet space with easy to see indicator lights and a decently sized cable.

Great Product!
Sleek design and sturdy. The back of the power strip has two recesses so it can be mounted to a wall either vertically or horizontally. Three of the eight outlets allow you to plug in those bulky A/C adapters...with plenty of room to spare. Each outlet is tight and secure upon plugging something in. I've bought several other brands that were loose upon plugging something in and allowed the plug to move. That's not safe to me. The wall plugin is flat and allows the thick power cord to lay flush with the wall. That, in itself, is huge in my book. The ground and protection LEDs are very bright and are able to be seen at nearly every angle. No more walking over it to see if you're protected.

A quality unit
I waited to write this review to give it some usage time. So far it has worked very well. This is a well built and designed unit. The indicator lights are a nice plus. It has a heavy duty cord and allows for 3 transformers. The plugs fit nice and secure into the unit. Besides the extra plugs; I feel comfortable that it will protect my equipment from a voltage surge as we get those in my area

This product works
I use the APC Home Office SurgeArrest to protect my new water heater and water softener. These products have small computers as most home appliances do these days. Our power provider - Rocky Mountain Power - has frequent outages and voltage deviations. I have experienced no issues with the APC Home Office SurgeArrest.

Good product with great design
This surge protector has 5 standard outlets along one side and 3 adapter spaced outlets that fit both normal and sideways formats on the other. Power switch is solid and the on/protected lights are very bright and easy to see. The shape is very flat and square, 3" x 9.5", which makes it fit in well on a cluttered desk and stable when adding or removing plugs. The technical features are excellent. Probably the best part of this product is the warranty, both lifetime warranty on the product and the equipment protection policy. The PH8 doesn't protect phone lines, USB or coax but there are other models that do. Overall a good buy for great protection from a reliable company.

Best gift given.
The 8-plug system is now being used for my television, my amazon streaming device, and my Roku streming device. It works really very well, no complaints yet.We will keep it hooked to see how wwell it works.

Just works
I got this in August of 2018. I have this unit hooked up in my home office. Using all the plugs, including 2 printer. It just works. No power problems, even when using both printers, this has passed the stress test. I highly recommend.
