Spending $900+ on repairs was out of the question even though it was only 3 years old. However, I looked carefully at the P50 and the options offered and made the choice to customize it and use it as a workhorse in my office. It has turned out to be everything I wanted and I returned to the mouse on the keyboard after so many years of struggling with the touch pad or external mouse. Yahoo!! (No pun intended) The processor, graphics, memory and dock are great and make my life behind the keyboard a joy. I use the computer for all the usual suspects and photo and video editing and production using CyberLink products in our real estate business.

But a few things made me worry while I was configuring the computer and not too many reviews existed helping with my questions. I purchased the touch screen option, and was so happy that I did. Not too much was out there with the P50 with a touch screen but I highly recommend the upgrade the screen is extremely accurate and works great with input. Not only was I worried about the touch portion but also the resolution. The resolution is perfect, no need to spend the money on the 4K non touch, if its in the budget and you think it would be in good use for you get the touch, you wont regret it. I carry this computer to all my classes and it performs extremely well. My CAD design course doesn't even phase it, this computer is a beast. Plus coming into buying my first Lenovo I thought the computer was all business but I was very wrong, this computer is just as much play as it is work.
