3M EM550GPL Large USB Wireless Ergonomic Mouse is rated 2.9 out of 5 by 17.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from buttons broke after 2 years Nice mouse but the buttons failed in 2 mice after 2 years each. Looked inside and the buttons were connected to the board with low quality wire that had corroded at all 14 solder joints! Having one go bad is a fluke but all 14 is a defect. Most likely they do not wash the flux off during manufacturing. Hey 3M, how about forwarding this to someone who can make it stop happening?

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Update driver is not available My computer has freeze problems when my mouse is connected, and has no problems at all when the mouse is disconnected. My support department advises to update my 3M mouse driver, but it is not available. So I cannot use my mouse anymore. It is very disappointing.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Great ergonomic design, Performance about as poor as it comes No other mouse beats the design in ergonomics. This mouse solved my issues with constant pain while clicking all day. However, in terms of reliability, this mouse is the worst. Mouse is very jumpy and stubborn on any surface, the buttons like to stick, which result in lots of strange dragging and other issues on desktop while working. Short battery life. This will be my third mouse of its type, since these like to break and completely stop working so darn much.I wish I could find a mouse like this that is actually made well. So far, this is all I could find that I can ergonomically work with on a daily basis.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The wireless version was disappointing! I bought this mouse a month ago brand new everything worked fine. Suddenly all my devices cannot recognize the dongle (it used to blink red when I would try to connect, now it just holds red and does nothing). The mouse is now landfill unfortunately. I would recommend getting the wired version as I have now read that I am not the only victim of the poor design of the dongle.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I'd pay double if it were more robust I've used these mice for about 20 years, since before 3M was making them. They work well ergonomically, but I wish they were higher quality. Buttons eventually break, and even when new things are wiggly and more noisy than necessary. How about making a deluxe version that is really crisp, tight, and lasts well? I'd pay two or three times as much for that.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Needs to be a little more rugged I have had several of the large mice. I started with the wired version, then moved to the wireless. They have all worked very nicely, until they fall off a table, or get packed for shipping, and didn't survive the trip to a new office. I am a bit sad as the one I have is out of warranty, and it isn't working as well as it should. It fell off my desk the other day. It might not have been replaced anyway as falling off a table isn't exactly a manufacturing defect. I just wish they were made in a slightly more rugged way. The neck tends to be the fragile part. The neck breaks in two, and the buttons misalign - especially the "middle" mouse button along the back of the upright column. There is no way to put Humpty back together again, the middle mouse button becomes highly unreliable.Having said that it's still my favorite ergo mouse on the market. I find it to be comfortable and works well with my large hands.
