Migrating Data Centers with Enterprise-Class Technology Strategy

Challenge
A national milk marketing cooperative needed to move to another colocation or on-premises data center as their current host was going bankrupt. The coop needed to manage their infrastructure transition while ensuring the current technology strategy was enterprise-class to service their internal and external customers. They were looking for a partner with offer pre- and post-sales services and expertise across the full infrastructure portfolio.
Solution
Leveraging CDW’s deep expertise and understanding of legacy environment challenges, the coop implemented a Cisco Network, F5 Load Balancing, Silver Peak SD-WAN, Vertiv power and cooling with services, and HPE servers. The coop is still evaluating solutions for a backup appliance.
Outcome
The coop now has an agile state-of-the-art on-prem infrastructure, and was able to maintain service continuity during the implementation.
