Juneteenth Celebrations Foster Allyship, Fellowship and Fun
As part of its year-long programming, our Black Excellence Unlimited (BeU) Business Resource Group (BRG) hosted a series of events in recognition of Juneteenth, the oldest known celebration commemorating the ending of slavery in the United States.
Celebrating Pride by Embracing and Promoting LGBTQ+ Inclusion
In celebration of Pride Month in June, our Business Resource Alliance Valuing Equality (BRAVE) Business Resource Group (BRG) in North America and our PRIDE+ BRG in the U.K. hosted activities and events to educate fellow coworkers on issues that impact the LGBTQ+ community and promote inclusion.
CDW coworkers joined forces with a coalition of BC-based companies to raise almost $1 million to support the Canadian Red Cross’ and donated approximately $9,000 to support ependymoma research at the hospital’s Labatt Brain Tumour Research Centre.
In 2021, CDW launched a partnership with The City University of New York (CUNY) to develop a mentor protégé program designed to enhance diverse suppliers’ capabilities, assist in meeting development goals and improve their ability to compete for and win contracts.
CDW’s Small Business Diversity, Equity & Inclusion teams in Chicago sponsored a virtual 5K to support organizations that take a position for social and racial equality and make it their mission to enact change within our communities.
