Placing An Order
Adding and Removing Items from your Shopping Cart

If you've shopped online before, you're probably already a pro. But if you haven't, below are step by step directions on how to build a Shopping Cart and place your order.
  • Locate the item(s) you want by using the Online Catalog, Advanced Search, CDW Compare, or browsing the site. As you locate an item you would like to order, click on the "Add to cart" button or link. This places that product into your Shopping Cart.
  • Adding items to your Shopping Cart is not a commitment to buy at that moment. You may continue shopping simply by clicking the "Back" button on your browser or by clicking on another link or button to the left or above your Shopping Cart.
  • Once you place the item into your Shopping Cart, you may change the quantity of the product you plan to order. To modify the quantity, change the number of products listed and click on "Update." Note: The default quantity for each item is "1".
  • To remove an item from your Shopping Cart, change the quantity of that item to "0".
Shopping Cart tips
We will automatically save the items you have in your Shopping Cart for you should you decide to leave the site. To pick up where you left off, simply click on the Shopping Cart link on the top navigation bar.

Should you wish to save more than one Shopping Cart. Use our handy Saved Shopping Carts feature.

Should you wish to e-mail your Shopping Cart to someone, just click on the "Send this cart to a friend" link and complete the resulting form.

You can preview your order total including shipping and any applicable taxes from your Shopping Cart. Just click on the "Shipping Calculator" link on the shopping cart page.


Ordering from your Shopping Cart
  • Once you have finalized your product selection, proceed to the checkout by clicking the "Continue Checkout" button.
  • Next, click on the "Continue on Secure Server" button.
  • Next, you will need to log in to your E-Account. Log in to your E-Account by entering your username and password. If you do not have an E-Account, you will need to create one. Skip to the "Creating a New E-Account" section below.
  • After you have logged in to your E-Account, click on the "Continue" link
  • Complete the Billing, Shipping and Payment information on the resulting page. The information required to complete your transaction is indicated with an asterisk (*). Click on the "Continue Checkout" button.
  • Select the shipping method you desire on the resulting page. This page contains all of the shipping options available to you. We pre-select the most economical shipping option for you. Click on the "Continue Checkout" button.
  • Review your order on the resulting page. If all of the information is correct, click on the "Finalize Checkout" button.
  • If you find any information that needs to be corrected, click on the appropriate "Update" button and correct the information that needs to be corrected.
  • That's it! After you have clicked on the "Finalize Checkout" button, your order will be processed. Record the order number on the resulting page. In addition, we will mail an order confirmation that contains your order number to the e-mail address in your E-Account. Thank you for your business!
