Overland Storage REO 1000 Disk Backup Array with Virtual Tape Library (VTL)

The Overland REO 1000™ disk backup array with Virtual Tape Library (VTL) enables fast, reliable data backup and recovery. The REO is extremely versatile and can be user configured as a 1-4 virtual tape libraries, 1-64 virtual tape drives, 1-64 disk volumes (LUNs), or a combination of all three. It is compatible with all popular backup software, physical tape drives and libraries for easy integration with Ethernet (iSCSI) networks. Its Dynamic Virtual Tape™ ensures that no capacity is wasted and simplifies virtual tape management. Embedded Protection OS software delivers intelligence along with enhanced features via software PACs. A robust browser-based interface provides proactive monitoring and makes management a breeze.

The REO 1000 provides instantaneous file restores and runs several concurrent backups, unlike a tape drive but at the price of one.
