Simplify control and operate all your computers with one keyboard, monitor, and mouse! Save money by consolidating equipment! With the ServSwitch ServSelect, you can access up to 64 CPUs with a quick keyboard sequence, pop-up menu, or a push button on the unit.
Configure and control your ServSelect from on-screen menus. You name each server individually, so you don't need to remember which CPU is "Server A" and which is "Server B." Server names can be up to 14 characters - and you can use names that make sense to you. Assign up to four users a user name, password, and access rights so they can see and change what they're authorized to - and nothing more. Configure any combination of keyboard, monitor, and mouse access. The ServSelect supports a master user whose password grants functional control of all attached computers. With ServSelect, you get the same switching options as traditional ServSwitches: front-panel push buttons and hotkeys from the keyboard. Scanning. Automatically monitor or scan your computer channels. When keyboard activity is detected, the ServSelect suspends scanning until all activity stops. You can configure the length of time each channel remains on screen.
