An ideal choice for secure connectivity.

Lantronix's LRS1-T and LRS2 Access Servers provide secure access for Dial-in, Dial-out, LAN-to-LAN, Console Server and ISP connections. All LRS models support PPP (PAP/CHAP), SLIP/CSLIP, SecurID, Radius, Kerberos, Unix, NetWare and local users database for authentication on both inbound and outbound connections. The LRS1-T and LRS2 also support dialback, which requires a user to authenticate and have the LRS dial back the user at a predefined number. Additional protection is provided through the LRS1-T and LRS2's routing capabilities. TCP/IP, IPX, and AppleTalk protocols can be routed, in addition to supporting Network Address Translation (NAT).

The Lantronix LRS1-T Access Server is the smallest of the LRS family and one of the smallest routers available today. Equipped with 1 DB25 (DTE) asynchronous serial connector and an RJ45 10BASE-T Ethernet port, the LRS1 is the perfect choice for any location where only a single port connection is needed.

Lantronix's EZWebCon web-based management software is included for easy product configuration and Comm Port Redirector software is included which makes it possible to run applications on networked PCs that were previously limited to direct serial connections. Flash ROMs allow for easy software upgrades from any TFTP, DECnet or Novell host. Like all Lantronix products, the LRS1 and LRS2 come with free upgrades, free technical support and a 5-year limited warranty.
