InFocus’ Install-in-a-Box is a turn-key, bundled, digital projection installation solution designed to meet the needs of simple conference and classroom functionality, providing everything they need from projector, mounting hardware, screen, connectivity and intuitive controls that address the needs of the majority of group collaboration and teaching environments.

Each Install-in-a-Box includes several purpose-built sub-kits that define one or a group of components required to address capabilities within the system. The sub-kits included in each system are:
Display
This sub-kit includes a standard InFocus projection display, model LP600. This sub-kit includes the Display infrared remote control, which is also functional when the display is used in Install-in-a-Box.
CableLink Input
This sub-kit includes a Decora style wall-plate interconnection for the connection of a VGA-enabled computer to the installed system. VGA and audio connection cables are also provided.
CableLink Output
This sub-kit includes a receiver module that will be installed at the Display using included brackets and mounting hardware, and provides the necessary connections to the Display.
Wall Screen
This sub-kit includes a high performance manual wall screen. Also included is the necessary mounting hardware to attach the wall screen to a typical sheetrock wall with wood or metal studding. The manual wall screen sub-kit will require no cabling.
IR Wall Controller
This sub-kit includes a Decora style pushbutton controller that allows user control over the system. The wall controller is configured for operation in a locale near an entrance to the room, or operation from a location directly adjacent to the DisplayLink Input.
Display Cables
This sub-kit includes the necessary short-length cables to attach the DisplayLink Output to the Display.
Display Mount
This sub-kit includes the components required to mount the Display and DisplayLink Output in a standard 2x2 or 2x4 suspended ceiling. Included is the mounting adapter required by the display as well as a specialty duplex power receptacle. This receptacle is used to provide power to the display and to the necessary Install-in-a-Box components. Connection of this sub-kit will require a licensed electrician.
Installation/User Guides
This sub-kit includes a printed installation manual and fold-out installation guide that provides a step-by-step procedure to the Install-in-a-Box product in each configuration in a typical environment. Also included is a user manual and CD-ROM containing electronic versions of the manuals, in addition to the drivers and software required for operation and administration of Install-in-a-Box systems. This sub-kit also includes necessary specialty tools and templates that aid in the installation process, including a sheetrock saw and mounting hardware.
