iFSYS 8003A provides users of mobile computing devices with a fast, cablefree method of moving data via infrared. It works with IrDA-compliant software to establish an infrared data link between products such as a portable computer and a desktop computer. You can quickly and easily exchange data without connecting a single cable.
iFSYS 8003A connects to the USB port of any Windows 98/2000/Me computer. To install, simply install the infrared software and connect it to the USB port of the computer. Then aim the infrared port on the mobile computing device (portable PC, PDA, Windows powered handheld device, cellular phones, digital camera, etc...) at the iFSYS 8003A. A connection will automatically be established between the mobile computing device and iFSYS product.
The product form design provides users with an adapter that is compact making it less obtrusive next to your desktop PC. The design also has an elastomer base that allows the adapter to pivot, so you can point the infrared signal directly at your mobile computing device.
iFSYS 8003A is fast, reliable and convenient. To move important data quickly, iFSYS 8003A operates at a fast infrared (FIR) speed of 4Mbps. To make sure your data is transferred accurately, it uses the IrDA protocol to prevent errors, even if the infrared link is momentarily blocked.
