Maxtor MaXLine Plus II drives are ultra-reliable enterprise-class disk drives with better speed and density than tape or optical solutions for superior near-line storage. Maxtor uses a proprietary process to engineer, build and test a select group of drives that achieve enterprise-class MTTF of greater than one million hours. MaXLine Plus II drives are ideal for demanding, full-time enterprise applications where cost per GB and storage density are critical parameters. They offer 7200 RPM spin speeds, capacities to 250GB, <9.1 ms average seek time, a choice of Maxtor-developed Ultra ATA/133 or serial ATA interfaces, and a 2MB buffer.
