With an MTBF of greater than 300, 000 Power On Hours (100% duty cycle) and greater than 1, 000, 000 cycles MCBF, the Sony LIB-152E/A1 can provide years of trouble-free operation. With the ability to increase the number of drives from 1 to 2 units, the LIB-152E/A1 can deliver data transfer rates of up to 74.9 GB per hour (2.6: 1 compression, 2 drives) to meet your storage needs and decrease your date backup window. Sony's Memory-In-Cassette technology helps to deliver fast access to date, making the LIB-152E/A1 a perfect solution for archiving and near line storage. Use the LIB-152E/A1 as either a standalone system or in a 19-inch 5u rack mount configuration for easily installation into a standard data center. The system works in either horizontal or vertical orientation.
