These Fast Ethernet switches provide a cost-effective way to instantaneously boost network center performance while preserving most of your network investment, including installed cabling and end users’ software and hardware. These NETGEAR switches are ideal for delivering large amount of multimedia, image, and video information to end users at speeds comparable to their hard drives.

24 switched 10/100Mbps ports

Provide private 10 or 100Mbps (megabits per second) bandwidth for PCs, servers, or hubs&emdash;no need to share and compete with other users for bandwidth. They enable an individual user or subnet to upgrade from 10 to 100Mbps without affecting other users.

Per port, automatic speed and full/half-duplex sensing

Each port automatically senses and operates at the proper speed and duplex mode, taking the burden of configuration off the user. At the higher speed running in full-duplex mode, each port supports up to 200Mbps of information throughput.

Network center performance

This switch features wire-speed filtering and forwarding and low latency to minimize delays and information distortion. It implements store-and-forward processing to reduce propagation of bad packets and to increase network availability as a result.

Easy plug-and-play installation

Once powered on, the unit starts to operate with no configuration required. Compact, 13-inch metal case design enables uncluttered desktop, wall, or rack-mount installation.

Vista network ports with built-in LEDs
