Use this 16-port KVM over IP switch to give one local user and up to four remote users access to servers across most networks. These switches are great for small and midsize data centers. Virtual Media (VM) enables remote users to map a remote storage device to the servers attached to the ServSwitch, making it a breeze to apply patches, update software, and upload data remotely.
With the new ServSelect IP VM, up to 4 authorized remote users can access and control up to 16 multiplatform servers from anywhere in the world - and they can also attach USB media storage devices to any server connected to the switch!
In addition to the ports for IP access, ServSelect IP VM models are equipped with an analog port on the local side for traditional KVM switching functions. The local and remote users can also transfer data between connected servers and USB media storage devices such as CDs, flash drives, and external hard drives.
