The 3Com® Wireless Gateway is an all-in-one networking solution capable of providing simple, yet full-featured Internet access and resource sharing for all your wired and wireless home devices. Designed for cable, DSL or ISDN users, this Gateway works with 3Com AirConnect 11Mbps Wireless LAN PC Cards and PCI Cards, or any Wi-Fi certified product, to provide high speed Internet access to desktop or notebook PCs without tying you down to a desk, Ethernet port or phone jack.
The 3Com Wireless Gateway offers flexibility and freedom to notebook PC users by providing them with untethered network access throughout the house. If you connect to a wireless LAN at work, or on a college campus, you can use the same wireless LAN PC Card to connect to this gateway at home provided all products are Wi-Fi compliant. If you run a business from your home, you can set up an office quickly and easily without installing wires, and with the flexibility to change the locations of your networked devices as your business grows.
