Each unit has a built-in pass-through port that allows you to connect your printer simultaneously without needing a spare parallel port. The pass-through port is designed to work with most popular printers. It is not recommended for "daisy-chaining" multiple parallel port devices.
There's no need to power off when swapping cards. Simply press the eject button and insert your next card.
The reader draws power from your computer keyboard, eliminating the need for auxiliary power sources.
