Seagate TapeStor DAT 24 STD224000N-RFT

The Seagate® TapStor DAT 24 digital data storage (DDS) drive is designed for computer environments that require high-performance, high-capacity data storage. Based on a 3.5-inch mechanism, it provides 12GB of data-storage capacity uncompressed, 24GB compressed and a native transfer rate of 1.1MBps uncompressed or 2.2MBps compressed. The TapeStor DAT 24 is a bundled solution including two 12/24GB DDS-3 tape cartridges, one cleaning cartridge, a diagnostic utilities CD and Seagate Software Backup Exec.

The TapStor 24 drive combines established DAT technology, high-density recording and hardware data-compression capability along with Seagate’s proven computer grade design. The TapStor 24 is ideal for workstation, server and network/enterprise applications such as:
