SonicWALL NSA 2400 Multi-Core Unified Threat Management Appliance 4.7 5 87 87
I've never managed a firewall before and walked into a job that has a 2400. Overall it seems like a powerful solution and has lots of bells and whistles. As a Sonicwall newbie, I find it endlessly frustrating. There are SO many settings and screens that configuring anything without a wizard would take some offline learning time. Tweaking existing settings is relatively intuitive, but I have to contact support when I want to make a major change. Maybe someday I will have the time to dig into the Sonicwall training (what they have online looks pretty detailed) but day-to-day I am a little nervous whenever I have to edit settings. We upgraded our datacenter sonic wall from a TZ190 to a NSA240 after experiencing issues with connectivity with our clients. Everything has been been running smooth since then. Also the support with Sonicwall staff is top notch. December 12, 2012
