Remote Installation of Drobo 1200i Solution SCOPE OF ENGAGEMENT

This SCOPE OF ENGAGEMENT (“SOE”), together with the Agreement between the CDW entity selling the Services described herein (“Seller”) and the customer ordering such Services (“Customer”) shall be deemed to be a contract upon Seller’s acceptance of Customer’s order.

SELLER RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following tasks:
•Gathering all pertinent data about the following: servers & applications; Network Infrastructure; Storage requirements; existing environment’s design, implementation, & dependencies
•Installing, configuring, & validating proper functionality of any applicable component: SAN Switch (cables, ports, configuration) Customer iSCSI initiators
•Connecting Drobo SAN into storage network
•Installing Drobo dashboard onto management server
•Configuring Drobo iSCSI network
•Configuring & testing LUNs to existing Customer server, max.3 servers/LUNs
•Training of system configurations

CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
Includes the following tasks:
•Providing access to all systems included in this project (VPN or RDP preferred)
•Providing remote console support (hardware & supported OS or network) for each device to be configured
•Proposed networking scheme with IP address ranges to be used for each device, management network, delivered one week prior to install date
•Configuring existing network switches/ports as defined in networking scheme by Customer staff
•Providing application & system configuration level knowledge for the current environment
•Ensuring all replication & backup resources must be locally accessible via standard Ethernet LAN technology
•Ensuring each server OS is newly installed & licensed; no other software is present before installation
•Communicating issues in timely manner
•Completing pre-install planning
•Physical cabling between switch/storage; between host servers & switch
•Limiting access to Customer network &/or facilities only as needed to perform Services

ASSUMPTIONS
•Testing for basic connectivity not performance test

ENGAGEMENT PLANNING & MANAGEMENT
Includes the following tasks:
•Scheduling work 10 business days prior/as agreed upon by both parties

OUT OF SCOPE
•Troubleshooting any hardware or software that is not functioning prior to the installation
•Data Migration
•Non-Drobo software installation

SERVICES FEES
The fees due under this SOE include fees for Services and related expenses, as specified in the applicable order

CUSTOMER LOCATIONS
Seller will provide Services remotely

PROJECT-SPECIFIC TERMS
1.Customer is responsible for providing all physical and network access, properly functioning hardware and software, and qualified personnel necessary for Seller’s performance of the Services
2.Customer will provide in advance all applicable Customer safety and security rules/procedures
3.Customer is responsible for all data, including back-up
4.Customer will provide reasonable cooperation with, and support of, Seller’s scheduling and performance
5.Customer will sign Seller’s project sign-off form upon completion of the Services
6.All Services will be performed during Customer’s normal business hours
7.Any changes to this SOE shall require a Change Order executed by both parties

CONTACT PERSON
Each party will appoint a person to provide approvals/decisions (“Contact Person”)

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This SOE shall be governed by Seller’s “Terms and Conditions of Product Sales and Service Projects,” which are accessed via the Terms & Conditions link on Seller's website (the “Agreement”) and are incorporated herein
