Description
With the MICROLINE® 590/591, the decision is entirely yours. This letter-quality printer anticipates and conforms to all your paper-handling needs.

The difference is OKISMART Paper HandlingTM, a unique patented technology that allows the ML590/591 to "read and learn" the paper you feed it, then set the head gap to the optimum distance for best print quality. It also means less time to load and reload paper stock, and can lead to longer printer life.

The ML590/591 delivers perfect output on letterheads, card stock, forms with up to 5 parts, and labels.

And, unlike ordinary printers, the ML590/591 takes on envelopes like any other paper media. Just feed them into the printer and they emerge flawlessly printed, with no jams or smears.

A patented sensor built into the ML590/591 printhead calculates the precise time and impact needed to print each dot, virtually eliminating uneven printing. The shape of each dot is more consistent, producing smooth, characters and stunning graphics. There are no gaps, no smears or light spots, regardless of paper type used.

You get the professional look you want for every application, the printhead lasts longer, and the printer works quieter and uses less power.

Flexibility to get the job done.
The ML590/591 offers seven resident typefaces including Courier, SwissTM and Roman, each scalable from 8 to 64 points in single-point increments. It also has a resident PostNetTM Bar Code for mailing envelopes, along with seven other bar codes.

The ML590/591 has accessories to impact on your productivity. For example, the Bottom Feed Push Tractor Kit provides a straight-through, jam-free paper path for thick forms; letting you take full advantage of the ML590 Series' short tear-off form capabilities.

The Cut Sheet Feeder allows unsupervised printing of letterheads and envelopes.

The Pull Tractor handles all your demanding printing applications, and comes with an acoustic cover for even quieter operation.

All this and a talent with color, too: an optional, user-installable Color Kit for the ML590/591 coupled with your color software package lets you work in a rainbow of colors, adding impact to graphics, charts, transparencies and text presentations.
