NetBotz Cat 5 Pod Extender 5M

For situations where Camera Pods or Sensor Pods need to be further than 80 feet from the WallBotz 500 base station, NetBotz Cat5 Pod Extenders can extend the distance using existing Cat5 network cabling. The USB cable from the WallBotz 500 base station connects into the local extender box, which is connected by up to 100 meters (330 ft) of Cat5 cable to the remote extender box. A standard USB cable connects the remote extender box to the pod, or to a hub which then connects to the pods. The Cat5 Pod Extenders can be connected into a network patch panel to use existing Cat5 cabling. Either the remote or local extender can be plugged into an electrical outlet

For longer distances, the Fiber 500-Meter Pod Extender allows the Camera Pod 120 and Sensor Pod 120 to be placed up to 510 meters (1,673 feet) from the WallBotz 500 base station. The USB cable from the base station connects into the local extender which converts signal to run over fiber optic cable for up to 500m into the remote extender, which converts the signal back to USB cable. The Fiber Pod Extender has 4 ports on the remote extender to allow connection of 1 Camera Pod and multiple Sensor Pods.
