NETGEAR RangeMax Router WNDR3700 4 5 7 7
no good I bought this to replace my other netgear router that was not that old.It stopped working right away. I blamed the internet co. But found out it's my router again. I guess there is no warranty. May 23, 2013
Pros: Setup is easy. Built in firmware updating (automated). I had it up and running in about 15 minutes into my existing and complex network. It took over like a champ and barely breaks a sweat. Plug & Play media server for your digital stream (DLNA) so PS3, Xbox, TV's, will all work with it. Also good for when friends bring something over or want to file swap, just plug their drive into the router and you're set.Cons: 5Ghz signal is not that good. I had to play around with positioning January 29, 2013
This is an awesome router! Signal is good, even in problem areas. DD-WRT compatibility is a plus, though I have yet to install it.Looks pretty spiffy too. January 25, 2013
The Readyshare feature on the router is useful to store and share files to multiple computers, and with the latest firmware update of the router, it resolves most of the DNS error that might showed up on the past. January 16, 2012
I used this router at home. I eventually replaced it with a Cisco RV220W as I needed VPN capability. The WNDR3700 is a top notch, very fast router. I've never found a router that put out as good a WiFi signal as this router. November 11, 2011
Had 1 of these for 3 months at home now, brilliant router. As Leonard said easy to configure like all Netgear products. I've had issues with range but I don't think it's especially worse than any others after going through 5 brick walls. September 6, 2011
good reliable product. easy to configure and maintain. September 5, 2011
