Been through 4 of theses and even after all the problems I've had I'd have to say its still a great console. Halo 1-3 are still my favorite games for Xbox. March 31, 2014
Most versatile and useful console I've ever owned. Covers everything from great games to movies to music and more. March 31, 2014
Xbox 360 is a major FAIL with POOR quality control in the manufacturing process. Mine had to go back to Microsoft for warranty repair because the DVD drive stopped working after a couple of months of light use. My replacement unit died with a red ring of death shortly after the warranty period lapsed. It's a 'great' system until you get the red ring of death. Then it becomes an expensive paperweight. Between the 360 and Windows 8 I will never spend money on another Microsoft product.Of course if somebody gives me a free one I'd still use it.I just need to find a new use for my Kinect now that the 360 is dead... Best console I've ever owned. Many hours of playing games with friends and yelling into my microphone playing Gears of War. March 19, 2014
I use one for the media center extender only. I don't really console game but i did steal one of the controller for use with my PC when gaming on a more controller friendly title. March 11, 2014
Great system, Never had the RROD. Microsoft have messed up with the Xbox One big time. Spent many childhood days on my 360 March 11, 2014
RRoD was a PITA, sure, but MS always gave me a replacement system when it happened (as well as free pads in compensation)I bought mine day of release, and have easily got my money's worth out of it.The fact I can use the kinect to control it when my son is sat on my lap and the remote is out of reach pushes it to 5 stars. March 4, 2014
So I was all ready to give this a 5 out of 5, until I remembered the RRoD fiasco. I went through 3 different 360s and I'm on the 4th now. I suppose that speaks for itself, if I am still willing to give the system a 4 after all the hardware issues. The 360 took online gaming and perfected it for the last generation. Live is a great online service (pricey but worth it) with everything you would expect it to have. This was the console that pulled me away from Nintendo and Playstation. November 6, 2013
