Microsoft Windows Server 2012 - license 4.4 5 182 182
We haven't been running 2012 long, but so far it seems fairly stable. The start screen is a little unnecessary on a server, but being a fan of the Windows 8 interface, it was fairly easy to get used to. April 21, 2015
This is probably one of my favorite server OS's so far from microsoft, The metro tiles are a little much because very few people are going to be using the touch features to administer the server. April 20, 2015
I have been very happy with 2012 R2 the updates to hyper-v have also made it a real alternative vmware April 17, 2015
I've used 2012 for a good while now, and I've found 2012 to be an amazing server and I enjoy it greatly. I'll probably get a server and put this on there for all my needs for the server side issues. But I do love server 2012. April 16, 2015
We are currently upgrading all our servers to 2012 level, unfortunately we missed out on 2012 R2 with our enterprise licensing agreement but once we add Classic Shell into the mix we get a very powerful and easy to manage server! April 8, 2015
Wonderful product! Very robust and feature-packed. I don't use the Server Core as much but I could see why some environments would favor it. Only down side is there's a huge gap (licensing wise) between the Standard and DataCenter versions. The fact that you can do unlimited VMs on DataCenter is quite nice but Standard can only do 2 VMs per processor. No complaints with the actual product but R2 is even better (so nice to have a start button back!) April 1, 2015
good product can be a little more complex i feel like windows is taking away features to add convenience. all in all its good. March 26, 2015
This is such a great and stable server platform. In my eyes, it is the best one Microsoft has released to date and wouldn't really change much. My only complaint is that there isn't a good subscription licensing option that enables IT folks to have the latest server version at a reasonable price. March 20, 2015
