Removable disk backup is designed to solve the problems associated with tape based backup. The 4 Bay Teralyte offers up to 8TB of removable disk backup capacity. The Teralyte is compatible with any capacity SATA disk on the market. Disks are available in the following capacities: 500GB, 1TB, 1.5TB and 2TB. The Teralyte comes bundled with Idealstor's removable disk management software, iBac Data Protection Software for Windows backup, Idealstor's rugged removable disk caddy, SATA controller (PCI or PCI Express depending on your server) and external SATA cable to hook up to your backup server.
