Gemalto .NET technology is the heart of this multi-application device allowing organizations to deploy one-time password and certificate based strong authentication under one form factor.
The Gemalto SA .NET Dual is one device for both OTP and certificate-based strong authentication that offers your employee maximum flexibility both at the office and on the road. Turn-key network logon for Windows, on-board certificates for digital signature and encryption, full OTP back-end application support and both connected and unconnected mode authentication makes the SA .NET Dual a one-stop shop for every IT access control requirement.
Local and remote access with certificate-based services
• Gemalto .NET end-user devices are interoperable with Windows® operating systems, Microsoft ILM 2007 and other components in Microsoft’s security platform. The Gemalto .NET smart card is natively supported in Windows Vista and Server 2008 and supported via Windows Update for Windows XP & Server 2003. This makes it easy to deploy and manage strong authentication and PKI systems without additional software or middleware.
• Includes Gemalto SA (Strong Authentication) User License for backend OTP administration.
• Replacements for lost/damaged .NET Dual devices (without Gemalto SA User License) are available. See CDW EDC 1536232 (Gemalto Part Number HWP117004)
• Optional web-based Device Administration Service (DAS) is available for provisioning the .NET Dual PKI capability, self-service pin reset, and certificate upload. See CDW EDC 1505962 for Annual User License and CDW EDC 1505963 for DAS Activation Bundle.
